Honoured and humbled to receive the 17th CIDC Vishwakarma Award 2026, recognizing excellence in research, innovation, and sustainable construction technologies. This achievement reflects dedicated efforts towards advancing green road solutions and building climate-resilient infrastructure for the future.
I am delighted to share that I have been conferred with the prestigious 17th CIDC Vishwakarma Award 2026 under the Scientist category by the Construction Industry Development Council. This recognition highlights my continuous efforts in advancing sustainable and green road technologies, with a strong focus on innovative materials, circular economy approaches, and climate-resilient infrastructure solutions. In addition, the flexible pavement decision system developed at CSIR-Central Road Research Institute has also been honored under the Research & Development in Construction Domain category. The CIDC Vishwakarma Awards celebrate excellence, innovation, and best practices across the construction sector, encouraging the adoption of advanced and replicable solutions.
At CSIR-Central Road Research Institute, we remain committed to developing and implementing advanced technologies such as REJUPAVE, MSS+, waste utilization methods including steel slag roads and ECOFIX, and low-temperature asphalt solutions, all contributing towards environmentally sustainable and durable road infrastructure. I dedicate this recognition to my colleagues, collaborators, and the entire CRRI team whose unwavering support and teamwork made this achievement possible. I am truly grateful to CIDC for this honour, which continues to inspire us to work towards a greener, more sustainable, and future-ready infrastructure ecosystem.
